Andy Swienton Memories

Another note from Pam:

Recently, we shared memories at Sam's funeral services and the
memories were read by Mike. The Swienton clan was so touched by the
different and personal approach that we are going to steal the idea.
We are requesting that anyone who would like to share a memory or
event with my dad, please e-mail me your story. We will read these
memories at the services. If you do not want your name mentioned,
please just let me know in the e-mail. If you can, please send them
to me today. We will also have paper at the church in Florida and
funeral home in Wisconsin for this same purpose.

I know there are so many hunting and fishing stories out there and we
want to know how Andy touched your life. I know he touched mine
everyday and "big foot" sightings will never be the same for me.

UPDATE: Hotel information from Pam

Andy Swienton R.I.P.

A message from Pam Barrett:

Dad passed away this morning at 9:40am est. He was in no pain and he
walked himself from this world to the next. We were all here as he
wanted. He waited for everyone to be here before he got really bad.
He crawled out of bed and wanted to stand. Andy and I held him as he
took his last steps. We all held him and set him in the wheel chair.
When we set him in the wheel chair to get him back to the bed, Andy
and Jean said he was gone and he lifted his head one last time, looked
at us and then breathed his last. He went out fighting all the way,
but now the terrible pain in is back is over. He was peaceful toward
the end. Mom is doing ok and we're all hanging in there. We're going
to have two services, one in Florida and one in Wisconsin.
