Survey Says

The 2011 Doughty 500 will be the historic 25th anniversary of the event. Dan is the tour coordinator director and he's looking for input on dates and locations. If you haven't done so yet, please complete the following survey and send it to him at:

3. If we go to Ladysmith, would you be in favor of starting on Sunday the 17th of July so we could drive in the Mardi Gras parade?

Mardi Gras Parade? Hmmm...As long as we can throw beads from the cars I'm down with that. Only to deserving recipients of course.

2010 Tour Update 2.0

The most important parts of the Doughty 500 itinerary--Happy Hours--have now been finalized:

Monday: The Rapids Gang

Tuesday: D3 Air and Space (funded by stimulus dollars)

Wednesday: Twisted Sisters

Thursday: Dinner and auction fundraiser MCed by Bernie's Boyz

Dinner will be at the (Mr.?) Belvedere Supper Club at 5pm. Please RSVP to Brendan and Karen by JULY 26th (hey, that's today) if you will be attending.

2010 Tour Update

Brendan and Karen are hosts for the 2010 Doughty 500, which will be based in Marshfield, Wisconsin.

We have a block of 19 rooms reserved for "Doughty 500." Rates are $76.49 + tax and up, with an assortment of rooms available. Please reserve early; the cut-off date is July 10th. The National Trappers' Association is having their convention in Marshfield at the same time, so rooms are somewhat scarce during this time. If you could not get a room at the Comfort Inn, call after July 10th and see if the "Trappers" made their cutoff for reservations.
