Rule of the Road

Rule of the Road

One rule that I would like to implement for this year's Five Hundo is that you can't ride in the same T every day.

Exceptions will be made for small children (and Jay) of course. Part of the appeal of the tour is spending some time with extended family members who you don't get to see all that often. Riding around with your immediate family all day might be fun (right), but you can do that anytime. How many chances do you get to talk to your cousins, uncles, aunts, in-laws, breeders, etc. who live in different states?

Riding in a T (and the accompanying breakdowns, flats, etc.) provides plenty of opportunities for casual conversation (at least between those seated next to each other). So let's be sure to mix it up this year and do lots of car-hopping. Anyone found disregarding this rule will be penalized to the furthest extent allowed under family law: riding alone with David all day. (shiver of fear)
